Michael Miller is JMJ’s General Counsel. He joined the company in September 2013, bringing over 20 years of general corporate legal experience. Mike has provided counsel on a wide variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, commercial loan transactions, business formations and restructurings, consulting agreements, SaaS licensing agreements and general contract matters. He is known for his ability to untangle complex and challenging business transactions.

Before JMJ, Mike was a partner at the Denver, Colorado based law firm of Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe, PC.

As a Colorado resident, Mike is actively involved with start-ups and private equity funded businesses in the Denver and Boulder communities. Mike is also a pro bono lawyer, member of the Finance and Audit Committee and former board member for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.

Mike received his B.S. in economics, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School.
